Lymphedema therapy has a 'chronic indication' under the Dutch insurance system. This means that from the 21st appointment, all appointments are covered from the insurance company. The patient will need to cover the first 20 appointments, either from their designated number of physiotherapy appointments in their insurance package or privately.
